Summer Blush Steak Salad Recipe
Yield: 4 entrée salads
Ingredients
For the Salad

1 lb New York strip steak

8 cups mixed greens

4 cups Bibb lettuce, torn

2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced

½ cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese

1 cup crispy fried onions

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 tbsp olive oil
For the Rosé Honey Vinaigrette

¼ cup rosé vinegar

1 garlic clove, finely minced
-
½ cup extra virgin olive oil
-
2 tbsp honey
-
½ tsp kosher salt
-
¼ tsp black pepper
Instructions
Prepare the Dressing

In a small bowl, whisk together the rosé vinegar, minced garlic, honey, salt, and black pepper.

Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking continuously until the dressing is emulsified.

Set aside until ready to serve.
Cook the Steak

Season the New York strip steak generously with salt and black pepper.

Heat olive oil in a cast-iron skillet or grill over medium-high heat.

Cook the steak for 4 to 5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired doneness.

Remove the steak from the heat and allow it to rest for 5 to 10 minutes.
