Set to make its festival run at establishments such as Diversity in Cannes Film Festival, LightReel FF and Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival (Oscar qualifying) is the short film ''The Heir," written and directed by Tia A. Smith.

The cast includes Tiffany Black, Terri J. Vaughn, Gregory Alan Williams, Terry Henry and Shay Mack.
